Camera Shot List

The Camera Shot List hips me to organise my shots and know which shots i am using and for which scenes, for example i am using both a close up shot and a mid-shot in my first scene. If i didn't have this list i would not know which shots to use in my scenes and therefore the filming wouldn't go as smoothly as it will with this list there to help me.

Meeting Minutes

The meeting minutes are important because they help to communicate with the cast, the meetings i have had with my cast have definitely helped the pre-production to go a lot more smoothly than it would without because without these meetings, i would not know where to film or even have a cast to work with.

Stripboard

This stripboard helps to organize my production, so i can keep track of what i need for each day. It is important to have the Stripboard because if i didn't, i might end up running over schedule and also, i might not have the cast members i need for each day.

Contributor Release Forms

The contributors release form confirms that whoever signs it will definitely be in the film and not change their mind and drop out last minute. It gives permission to use them in film and the actors/crew can't turn around after editing and say that i can't use the footage. Without it, my cast could easily drop out and i would not have anything to prove that they agreed to being in the film in the first place.

Location Release

The location release gives permission to film in a certain location- if i didn't have these forms then i would not be able to film in the locations since i didn't actually have permission and therefore would not be able to create my film.

Outline Budget

The outline budget is there to help me know how much money i will need for production, the things labeled £0 are what i am able to receive from the college when the time of filming comes. Without the Outline Budget, i would't know how much money is needed for the things in order to film.

Risk Assessment Form

The risk assessment form is important to have so i know which risks there are during filming and therefore i can try my very best to avoid them. If i didn't have this then i would not know of the risks and there would be a chance that myself and the actors could hurt themselves.

Location Scouting

The location scouting sheets have been used of course, for my location scouting. I write down where i want to shoot the film, the distance from my home, which days of the week i will need to utilise the space and where the location of it is. If i didn't have this, my pre-production wouldn't have the proof that i have actually gone out and looked for places to shoot- so i can ensure the locations.

Personnel List

In this personnel list, i have listed the names, roles and contact information of everyone who is involved in my short film, including myself. Without this information, i probably wouldn't be able to get ahold of the actors to tell them when we will be shooting and what they will need to bring, if anything.

Equipment / Resource

In the resource list, i have logged all of the equipment i will need so come pre-production, i will be prepared to shoot my film and have everything i will be using. If i didn't list the equipment, i possibly wouldn't be able to access it, the quality of the film will not be as good as i could be.
